Sartoria Rea was founded in 2001 by Gaetano Ippolito and Rea Francesca, both hailing from families of tailors and seamstresses. With years of training at the most renowned Neapolitan brands, Gaetano and Francesca decided to open their own factory, bringing the exquisite art of hand-crafted tailoring from Naples to the world. Naples, known for its unparalleled tailoring, provided the perfect backdrop for Sartoria Rea to establish its manufacturing identity. Over the years, we have developed a unique approach that allows us to maintain complete control over our products from creation to finishing.

The new generation Gaetano and Francesca's son, Cosimo Ippolito, shares their passion for art, craft, and fashion. Cosimo studied fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in London, where he graduated in 2021. His graduate collection was recognized among the top ten, earning him the opportunity to showcase his work during the London Fashion Week in 2021.While in London, Cosimo gained invaluable experience working for various luxury brands. This exposure to the industry, combined with his managerial and business skills, helped him understand the needs of a luxurious international clientele.
In 2023, Cosimo joined the family business, bringing fresh perspectives and reidentifying its assets.
